As the senior director with responsibility for the work of the International Capital Market Association (ICMA) in the secondary cross-border market for international debt securities, John has a key role in co-ordinating the response of member firms to European regulatory reforms affecting that market, including MiFID. He has over 10 years experience of financial trade association work, covering market structure, commercial and regulatory issues.

It represents a broad range of capital market interests including global investment banks and smaller regional banks, as well as asset managers, exchanges, central banks, law firms and other professional advisers.
