As strategic advisor Borer is successfully representing and defending business interests vis-à-vis governments and administrations in Europe. Furthermore he is consulting companies in merger and acquisitions and in developing new markets in Europe. On behalf of the Swiss Government, effectively managed Switzerland’s World War II Task Force handling the sensitive issue of assets transferred to Switzerland’s financial institutions before and during the war.
Was responsible for negotating on behalf of the Swiss Government with the highest level of the American, British, Israeli and other governments during a very difficult, complex and internationally controversial period in Swiss history. Received idespread praise for his role in successful resolution of the crisis from all sides (his praise is part of U.S. congressional record).
