Just a few years ago, bread was still being baked in this building, called the Letzibeck. Even the bus stop in front of the red brick building had the same name. Nowadays it all looks different. After renovations, many efforts to change the interior were made, some successfully, some not. First was JAIL, after the water damage it changed to XXL and then again to a club called FAME. After these many trials and changes of names, it truly couldn’t have been any more complex and there lies the new name KOMPLEX 457.
Travel Info & Accommodation
The complex is situated in Zurich-Altstetten, very good accessibility and an excellent connection with public transport as well as the Motorway A1. It lies directly beside the Shopping Center Letzipark, which offers over 1400 parking spaces. The first 3 hours parking are free of charge and is open around the clock. Public transport offers a Bus stop right in front of the complex: Bus No. 31. If arriving by Trolley, No. 2 stops at either “Kappeli” or “Freihof” and from there only takes a 5 minute walk. If travelling with the S-Bahn, the S3, S9 of S12 stops at Zurich-Altstetten and from there the No. 31 Bus will take you in front of the building.
